My Space for Life Garden program lends its support to a citizen movement to green our urban spaces through a variety of concrete and enjoyable measures.
Urban sprawl and the fragmentation of our green spaces are contributing to a decline in biodiversity, as well as an increase in climate change and heat islands. Greening a balcony, patio or wall or creating a flower or vegetable garden are effective, tangible ways to bring back nature, help preserve biodiversity and make our urban landscapes more attractive.
You can choose between four themes, depending on your personal interests and the surface area you have to work with: a biodiversity garden, a bird garden, a monarch butterfly oasis and an edible garden.
