The Jérôme-Brisson-Curadeau Bursary Fund was created thanks to a loving gift from the employees of Space for Life in memory of Jérôme, the son of two of their colleagues, who died at the age of 10 from the bite of a bat infected with rabies. Jérôme’s passion for nature is his legacy.  The Fund bearing his name helps young boys and girls from Montreal’s lower income families to participate in one of Space for Life’s day camps at the Biodôme or the Botanical Garden.

The Jérôme-Brisson-Curadeau Award is offered to elementary and high school students who are chosen by school management.  Transforming an interest in natural sciences into the passionate journey explored by Frère Marie-Victorin, Hubert Reeves and Jane Goodall is at the heart of the Award.
